Home to more than half the world’s population and many of its fastest-growing economies, the Indo-Pacific has become a critical driver of global growth and innovation. Recognizing the need for expertise at the intersection of STEM and diplomacy in the region, under the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (commonly referred to as the Quad), the governments of Australia, India, Japan, and the United States launched the Quad Fellowship in 2021 to support early-career scientists and technologists across the Indo-Pacific.
